The Eye

Forget about Big Brother! It's Albert that's watching you! ;-)

Back in the CELTA days Dan, Greg, and I had a running joke about how the logo for Albert Supermarket looks like a big eye, one that can see you no matter where you are, and one that if you stare at for too long will possess you, causing you to become evil and wreck havoc upon the Czech landscape. And don't even ask what happens if The Albert Eye sees you with a bag from a competitor supermarket... All I can say is 'may god mercy on your SOUL!'

Not one to believe *too much* in superstition, here I have a staring contest with a particularly luminous Albert Eye under Wenceslas Square.
